About Me
Nelly Kavaldjiev is a Yoga Alliance RYT 500 teacher, certified through Jennifer Prugh’s Joy of Yoga training program. She’s been fortunate to study with Cain Carroll, Bryan Kest, Mark Singleton, Srivatsa Ramaswami, Charanpal Kaur, and other inspiring teachers. Nelly has certification in Vinyasa and Kundalini yoga, as well as credentials as a kids’ yoga instructor. She teaches adult and youth classes at Breathe Together Los Gatos, which was recognized as “The best yoga studio of Silicon Valley” in 2016. She is the creator of Nelly’s Yoga program for children, and is teaching yearlong group sessions at schools, as well as working individually with students with special needs.
Nelly’s yoga journey began in 2005, and it soon evolved into a passion and dedication. After introducing the practice to her children and observing its deeply transformative impact on them, she felt inspired to become a yoga educator. Nelly guides her students to tap into their limitless strength and inner wisdom, in order to cultivate their own loving and nurturing practice. She is also a Qi Gong practitioner, and integrates this ancient tradition into her yoga teachings. She is a strong believer and advocate for a holistic approach to health. Nelly holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Sofia University and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria. She lives in San Jose, California, with her husband Daniel and their two children Kristin and Alex. |
